Angelo Spadavecchia - Director of Communications
Mr. Angelo Spadavecchia began working with Solidarity with South Sudan as Director of Communications in 2012. His qualifications include a Master's Degree in International Law and International Relations from the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia). Angelo has worked previously in Rome; firstly between 2005-2006 as an Intern with the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace and more recently he was employed at the Solidarity and Development Secretariat for the De La Salle Christian Brothers in Rome.
Angelo’s experience in the field of education includes teaching in a remote Aboriginal Community school to working as Director of Mission in a Catholic College in Australia. He has also been involved as the Australian Liaison for Bethlehem University in the Holy Land as well as the Refugee Council of Australia. Angelo will be working with Solidarity with South Sudan to extend its network of friends and supporters worldwide and to widen its communication base.
