oct-news-06-01I’m sending a variety of pictures. There are a couple of the students micro-teaching. They are doing it in partners and these two were doing sound. They did very well. We like to have them get some experience before they go out to the schools. We especially like to have them make lesson plans with activities in them.

oct-news-06-02The women cooks  have a big job cooking for the students. They prepare morning tea (breakfast), lunch which they serve and clean up after and supper which they leave for the students to serve at 7:30pm and clean up after. I myself would not want to cook for over 90 people! There are men employees ;John, the compound manager, Paulino who drives and does many other jobs including building and Gordon one of the watchmen.

Sister Sandra was teaching about reading to students and story telling. Paulino built the easel she is using. Sister Julia is a journalism teacher and so she keeps the communication board up to date. At times the rest of us contribute to it. I also included a few pictures of our weber grill which makes some cooking easier.  There are pictures of the students preparing teaching aides for student teaching, too.
